Matthew J. Chauvin has been practicing law for nearly a decade and is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, the Northern District of New York and Federal Court.


Prior to joining Ianniello Chauvin, LLP, Mr. Chauvin served as Assistant District Attorney for Saratoga County for six years, where he concentrated on the prosecutions of DWI cases. He concurrently served as the Deputy Town Attorney for the Town of Halfmoon, a position he held for six years.


Mr. Chauvin has extensive experience handling general municipal law including zoning, planning, land use and code enforcement and often represents clients and developers before municipal boards. Mr. Chauvin’s current practice concentrates on DWI and criminal defense, vehicle and traffic law, civil litigation, municipal law and personal injury.


Mr. Chauvin received his B.A. in history from Pennsylvania State University and obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from Rutgers School of Law.
